Construction is still ongoing and progressing daily. While some of the work has been moved to the evening, please continue to drive safely and patiently through Madeira. They are currently working on Miami Ave. by both driveway entrances. We suggest coming in through Camargo Rd. to access the parking lot.

Thank you to everyone who came out to join us for our very first wine and book club last Saturday! The weather was perfect, and we had such a great time sipping Champagne and discussing The Winemaker’s Wife on the patio. We will be hosting an intimate wine tasting with Ben Matthews, winemaker and founder of Terratorium, on Wednesday, September 24th, at 6:30pm here at Piazza Discepoli. Ben will guide us through five Terratorium’s wines, entertain us with stories behind the making of them, and share the passion behind the wines. We’re delighted to be tasting a brand new Terratorium offering that hasn’t yet been announced, and we’ll be tasting through the last of their previous Pinot Noir vintage. Wines
We know and love Cabernet Sauvignon from popular regions like Napa Valley and Bordeaux’s left bank. However, we don’t often hear too much from another popular region, Southern Australia. Specifically, the Margaret River region is well known for its excellent Cabernet Sauvignon wine. Xanadu’s vineyards are located in this region; their first vines were planted in 1977, making the winery the pioneers of the Margaret River wine region. They have a strong focus on producing premium wines that reflect the characteristics of the Margaret River region. In an idyllic setting in the southwest corner of Australia, the 85 hectares of vines on the original Xanadu Estate flourish in the rich, free-draining gravel soils. In this near-perfect environment for viticulture, this unique maritime climate enjoys an abundant supply of water and is sheltered by forests of magnificent Marri trees.
Xanadu’s 2020 vintage was exceptional in this remote region, and this Cabernet Sauvignon offers outstanding value for the quality. Layered and lucid, with evocative notes of black currant, plum, tobacco, and spices, it’s open and approachable. The wine was matured for 14 months in 40% new French oak. The mouthfeel is plush, concentrated, and beautifully balanced. This is a wine that will certainly leave you wanting more!

We’re excited to have a new product in our lineup. Rustic Bakery started on a whim in 2005.
