Behind the Bottle with Noah River Wines

  • Piazza Discepoli 7754 Camargo Road Cincinnati, Ohio, 45243 United States (map)

Meet vintner and proprietor Jamey Whetstone of Noah River Wines for an evening of wine, conversation, and discovery.

On Thursday, July 30, from 6–8 PM, you'll taste four thoughtfully selected Noah River wines while Jamey shares the stories behind each bottle, from the vineyard to the glass. In addition to Jamey formally presenting each wine to the group, this event provides an intimate opportunity to meet Jamey, ask questions, and enjoy personal conversations throughout the evening.

Whether you're a longtime wine enthusiast or simply curious to learn more, this is a unique chance to experience the wines through the eyes of the person who crafted them.

We will be tasting Timeplace Chardonnay, Noah River Sonoma County Pinot Noir, Solroom California Red Blend, and Timeplace Cabernet Sauvignon.

About the Winemaker: Jamey moved to Napa Valley from his home in South Carolina to manage Mustards Grill in 1996. Simply captivated by the community, lifestyle, and culture of wine country, he found himself quickly growing roots. By 1998, he had begun his winemaking education at Turley Wine Cellars where he would remain in his apprenticeship until 2005. During that time, he spent a summer sabbatical working for the Seysses family at Domaine Dujac in Morey-Saint-Denis and laid the groundwork for Whetstone Wine Cellars, which he founded in 2002.
